  From February 26th to 28th, 2025, the Third (2025) Broiler Industry Five Sacred Mountains Forum and Shandong Broiler Industry Development Conference was grandly held in Yantai. The conference was hosted by the Shandong Provincial Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Bureau and the Shandong Provincial Animal Husbandry Association, and undertaken by the Yantai Municipal Agriculture and Rural Bureau and the Broiler Branch of the Shandong Provincial Animal Husbandry Association. It attracted numerous leading domestic broiler companies, related industry chain enterprises, and representatives from scientific research institutes to gather together and discuss new development paths for the broiler industry.

  To further explore the exemplary role of innovative enterprises in the broiler industry and guide the transformation, upgrading, and high-quality development of the broiler industry, the Shandong Provincial Animal Husbandry Association organized the selection of innovative enterprises in the Shandong broiler industry. Wuhan Gree Nong Biotechnology Co., Ltd. won the "Shandong Broiler Industry Innovation Enterprise" award for its advantages in bacteriophage industrialization.   At the conference, Gree Nong Biology deeply participated in the theme discussion of this industry event—Technology Empowerment, Improving Quality and Efficiency. Professor Wang Xiliang, chairman of the company and professor at Huazhong Agricultural University, combined the current situation and hot topics of the industry to share the topic of "New Strategies for the Prevention and Control of Bacterial Diseases in Poultry" with his colleagues. Professor Wang introduced the many negative impacts of the unreasonable use of antibiotics in animals, explaining that bacteriophage preparations are one of the important means for the prevention and control of bacterial diseases in animals. Professor Wang shared the exploration experience of bacteriophages in green animal husbandry, aiming to achieve sustainable development of the broiler industry, which attracted widespread attention from participants.

  During the conference, the well-known industry media "Poultry Express" conducted an in-depth interview with Professor Wang. In the interview, Professor Wang shared how Gree Nong relies on lysis spectrum and resistance research to more accurately configure "super cocktails," solving the problems of poor broad-spectrum efficacy and resistance (i.e., drug resistance) of bacteriophages in applications, forming an effective advantage.

  During the exhibition, Chen Ping, Vice Governor of Shandong Province, and accompanying leaders visited the Gree Nong Biology booth. After understanding the advantages of bacteriophage technology, the leaders expressed their concern and praise for the company's products.

  At the booth, Gree Nong Biology's technicians enthusiastically explained to the guests the broad application prospects of bacteriophages in animal health, plant protection, food safety, and consumer medical care. Many people showed strong interest and in-depth understanding of bacteriophage therapy and expressed their willingness to cooperate in the future.
